XXIO X Fairway Woods

The XXIO X Fairway Woods and Hybrids provide “Experience Easier Distance” which allows every golfer to hit the ball on the sweet spot and gain more distance easily, and increase the chance of hitting the ball on the sweet spot by 13% (from 65% to 78%) for fairway woods and 11% (from 65% to 76%) for hybrids, compared to the previous models*.

Key Features of the XXIO X Fairway woods

 

Lower CG promotes high launch and low spin for higher & longer flight

  • The “Flat Bottom Design”, which creates flat surface on the sole extending from heel to toe, combines with the Shallow Rear Section and the 3mm shorter hosel (compared to the previous model) for deeper and lower CG.
  • The “Lightweight Crown”, which is the newly developed lighter and thinner crown, creates optimal CG location for higher launch by effectively redistributing the removed weight from the crown.
  • The “Power Wave Structure”, which is a structure of the sole having thinner middle portion and thicker surrounding area, continues to be adopted for the new XXIO X.

In addition to these new technologies and improvements, the smaller projected area of the head provides more comfortable look at the address to promote longer carry and greater flight. Compared to the previous XXIO 9 series, the XXIO X Fairway Woods add 5.5 yards to the Regular Model and 3.2 yards to the Miyazaki Model, yielding the longest distance in the history of XXIO*.
